Past Ghost
As a little kid we use to drive past this old Victorian house, an be it day or night you would see a shadow in the second story windows.
One Halloween night while walking by the house, looking up I could see someone staring at me no matter what I did then I heard a voice call Raya Raya Raya, so busy looking at the shadow when a hand fell upon my shoulder I screamed and turned around an smacked my friend Drac.
Drac what in the name of the stars are you doing scaring me like that I yell loud at him Drac just smiles at me, then says* ah Raya it wasn't like I didn't call out to you* still wearing that big grinning smile of his, as he

Use to
I use to wish, I use to dream, I use to pray you would come for me.
I use to laugh, I use to cry, use to feel so alive.
All these things I use to do, & I still do.
I still wish & dream, you’ll come & set me free.
I still laugh & cry, so I know I’m alive.
Sometimes all these wishes, & dreams feels so unreal to me.
But deep in my soul, I know what use to be shall always be, even if you come rescue me.

Chapter 13
As I had said earlier throughout the long centuries that I have lived within the Underworld there have been many mortals who have risked their lives to enter into the realm of the dead begging me to release the soul of a loved one, but none were so bold as the Lapith Prince Pirithous, son of King Ixion and half-brother to the Centaurs. The young prince inherited his father, Ixions, pride. Even though Ixion was married to a beautiful princess named Dia, he believe that he was blessed by the Gods and therefore he deserved no mere mortal princess as a bride, instead he thought that he des

Persephone
My birth name is Kore, but modern readers may only know me by the name Persephone; the name my husband gave to me on our wedding day many long centuries ago. You see I am the consort of Hades, the God of the Underworld, known by some as the Queen of the Dead. Throughout the centuries since I took my place within the Underworld, at my husbands side, I have heard many tales of how my uncle, the God Hades, kidnapped me while I was picking flowers with the daughter of Oceanos, the Sea Nymphs, one bright, sunny day; how as I screamed and struggled with all my might, he seized me an

Hades paused for a few moments, reflecting on the past before he began to speak to me. Before you can truly understand what brought me out of the Underworld to your fathers palace that day, I must explain to you the circumstances that influenced the Goddess of Fate to name me as the Ruler of the Underworld.
He paused once again and I could see that he had to reach deep down into the pool of his memory to reconstruct the events that must have occurred thousands of years before I was even born, events that decided not only his Fate, but I was soon to find out my Fate as well. After what se

The six black stallions assisted by their bat-like wings ran swiftly over the land without even pausing when they reached the northern shores of the Greek city Attica. I had seen my uncle Poseidon's horses move gracefully over the water many times and thought that his alone possessed this ability, for he was the God of the Seas; but Hades' horses were just as grand as their hoofs seemed to float effortlessly over the white foam of the waves. It was this foam that supported the weight of the six stallions and gilded chariot, and with each beat of their leathery wings I could see the w

Demeter:
Let me briefly interrupt my daughter Kore's story here, for there are many reasons I behaved the way I did; and even though it will be hard for mortals to understand my motives, let me do my best to try to clarify them here. But before I begin, let me introduce myself. I am an old Goddess, though I dont look it, my long flowing hair is a light golden blonde, the color of spun silk that was kissed by the Sun and my skin as flawless as a pearl. My body is still as youthful and firm as it was when I was still an innocent Goddess, many, many centuries ago. My name is Demeter and
